A senior licensed occupational therapist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary. The senior occupational therapist is also responsible for providing occupational therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care/services to this population. In addition, the senior licensed occupational therapist participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization. They also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program, and serve as a resource to other staff members in clinical and/or administrative areas. Candidates must possess a current license to practice occupational therapy in the State of
Florida
as well as current CPR certification, a minimum of 2 years clinical experience and evidence of experience in program development or administrative functions.
